Giving SMEs a Seat at the Table: Speaking Up for Business in Parliament
Over the years, I have been fortunate to work closely with government through my role as an SME, particularly in collaboration with Labour. Representing the voice of small and medium-sized enterprises has always been at the heart of my work, and I take great pride in presenting the views, concerns, and aspirations of fellow SMEs across the Southeast to members of government on many occasions.
These opportunities have allowed me to highlight the vital role SMEs play in driving innovation, supporting communities, and strengthening the UK economy. I believe it is essential that the voices of business owners and entrepreneurs are heard at the highest levels, ensuring that policy decisions are informed by real-world experience and the challenges we face daily.
I remain committed to championing SMEs and continuing to act as a bridge between government and business, so that together we can create an environment where innovation, growth, and opportunity can truly flourish.
