Red Mason Culture
Our chosen volunteer spot once a month is The Posh Club, where vintage style meets modern cool with a hip twist.
The Posh Club is a weekly social & showbiz event for swanky senior citizens, elegant elders & glamorous golden girls.
Today was a special day as I volunteer at the Posh Club in Crawley! We all dress up as if we were heading to the Ritz, adding a touch of elegance to our volunteering experience.
It was incredibly heartwarming to see the guest and it is all about about giving back to our community. Together, we helped create a memorable afternoon for our elderly residents, complete with delicious food and outstanding live entertainment.
Giving back to the local community is incredibly important. It strengthens our bonds, supports those in need, and fosters a sense of togetherness and shared purpose. Watching my son interact with everyone and witnessing the smiles on their faces was truly priceless. It’s wonderful to be part of such a fantastic local event that brings so much joy and connection.
Here’s to more days of giving back, dressing up, and making a difference together!

Recently, an incident in London made headlines in the art world.
Police were called to a gallery to assist a woman who appeared to be slumped over at a table with her head down for over two hours.
Upon arriving, the officers discovered that the woman was actually a life-sized sculpture by American artist Mark Jenkins.
Known for his provocative and eye-catching street art installations, Jenkins' work can be both amusing and surreal, but also quietly disturbing at times.
His sculptures are so lifelike that it can be difficult to distinguish them from real humans, as he intentionally omits facial features and conveys meaning through body language and context.

Since our start, over a decade ago we have been strongly committed to helping the local community. Giving back is at the heart of what we do.
This just this month we have volunteered our time to:
Our staff have been out dressed as Santa’s helper ‘Elf’ spreading Christmas cheer in the local community and collecting for the Rotary Club that supports good causes.
Give marketing support to a local charity that teaches drama to adults with learning disabilities called ‘Make A Scene’.
Designed and printed banner's for the Watford Branch of the Rotary Club.
Designed advertising for the Bletchingley Skills Centre in Surrey for the event they are raising funds in Surrey.
Set up a new brand for a charity that re-homes abandoned dogs called ‘PetAPet’.
Working with charities and good causes is a long term commitment for Red Mason.
Gucci > Palace > 'Out of Space' by Prodigy.
Palace Gucci collab arrives with a predictably great campaign
The tie-up between the two fashion brands – which operate in different markets yet seem like natural companions – comes with a typically eccentric ad campaign. With Palace known for its own witty and irreverent advertising, and Gucci building a reputation under Michele for super stylish yet offbeat campaigns, the collab seems guaranteed to bring covetable products alongside some great ads. It duly arrives with a spot directed by regular Gucci contributor Max Siedentopf, which is quirky from start to finish and is well worth sticking with beyond the credits, which show up halfway through.
High-end retailer Gucci has teamed up with Palace Skateboard for their pop-up store that opens tomorrow in London.
"Things are looking up, as Palace Skateboards brings the House to a new dimension. Under the experimental impetus of Vault, Gucci’s concept store, Creative Director Alessandro Michele has invited the founders of Palace, Lev Tanju and Gareth Skewis, to shake things up by designing a collection with wild abandon".
The first half of the ad centres on an out-of-this-world party set to the tune of the Prodigy’s 1990s rave hit Out of Space, which opens with a footballer floating into the scene via an umbrella, Mary Poppins-style. Post credits things take an unexpected turn as we cut to an unlikely corporate boardroom scene where Sesame Street-style characters triumphantly celebrate the collab. And why not.

Working closely with Watford Borough Council and Watford Museum we designed two eye-catching pieces of signage that were opened by the Mayor of Watford this week. The response from the public has been very positive. We designed, illustrated, produced and supervised the installation on the two pieces of sign in Watford High Street.
Summer means collage
Inspired by the cutting-edge work of Picasso and Braque, Dadaist artists also began to experiment with collage in the 1920s.
I have always loved collage as an art but what is Collage Art?
Coined by cubist artists Picasso, the term “collage” comes from the French word coller, or “to glue.” The movement itself emerged under this pair of artists, who began working with various mediums to create avant-garde assemblages around 1910.
Collages can be created from a range of materials, though most are made of paper or wood and often feature cut-and-pasted photographs, painted forms, or even 3-dimensional objects. As more and more modern artists began exploring the practice throughout the 20th century, these mediums became more varied and increasingly experimental.

Creative production studio Toad has partnered with King’s College London, the NHS and Maudsley Charity to produce a series of advice-based animations for families.
“As lockdown was initiated, there was a growing concern among us about what this was going to do to families – even those who had never before shown any signs of anxiety,” says Henry Waterfall-Allen, digital director at Toad. It was this concern, he tells Design Week, that sparked the team’s latest project: Families Under Pressure.
Aiming to support parents feeling the continued strain of the coronavirus pandemic, the London-based creative production studio has partnered with psychologists and child psychiatrists at King’s College London (KCL) and the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLAM) to launch a series of animated videos offering practical, science-backed advice for families in lockdown.
In total, the team has so far launched eight animations under the initiative, designed with help from four different illustrators. Each has been narrated by a celebrity parent, with videos featuring the likes of Olivia Coleman, Danny Dyer, Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill and Rob Brydon.

Eye-catching new window graphics designed for Homecroft Wealth in Oxted by Red Mason
Red Mason was commissioned by Homecroft Wealth in Oxted to design and install a series of new window graphics.
Homecroft Wealth wanted to boost its profile to the population of Oxted.
They are located in the passage between the train station and Morrisons supermarket but everyone walked past without knowing they were there. We designed a bold and colourful design which is in marked contrast to what was there before. After we installed them a week ago there has been lots of very positive feedback and interest which is great.
The client said the ‘new windows look amazing’.
Not only do we design window graphics but also websites and much more.
We followed all the Government guidelines about working when we installed this project.
